Noting the annual festival and Holi Mangal Milan organized by the Gandhinagar Market Association:-

The annual festival of "Holi Mangal Milan" was organized by the Gandhinagar institution. Many programs of Holi Mangal Milan were organized and coordinated by the chief patron of the Gandhinagar Market Association, Mr Ram Prasad Chamadia, who unfortunately is no more with us today. During his time heading the association, he played a leading role in all the programs. It is impossible to pay back to them for all their contributions. The Gandhinagar Market Association pays its sincere tribute to the founders of the Gandhinagar Market, who are not among us anymore, Late. Mr Kuljit Singh Kochhar, Mr Ved Prakash Madan, Mr Hansraj Thukral, Mr Rajkumar Bajaj, Mr Suredh Kapoor, Mr Subhash Kalda, Mr Baldev Raj Khurana, Shri Satish Khurana ji, Shri Narendra Sharma (Nandi) ji, Shri Surjit Rai ji, from the bottom of its heart. They performed their duties with sheer dedication and passion.

Along with the “Holi Mangal Milan,” the association also organized many colourful programs of Kavi Sammelan. Many famous & renowned poets and artists of Delhi and the likes of Comedians like Mr Suren Sharma and Mr Raju Srivastava, along with the film artist Mr Arun Bakshi adorned Gandhinagar with their presence. The whole Gandhinagar community also enjoyed the energetic performances of Bhangra and folk Punjabi music. Performances by Pawan Sharma & Party, Rajkumar Jadugar, and Sanjay Malik Music Entertainer also made the evening more colourful.

All the office bearers of the association, all the shopkeeper brothers of Gandhi Nagar market - were invited by association members. All the MLAs, Corporation Councilors of the Central Government and the Delhi Government were also invited to participate in this grand program. The Hon'ble Chief Minister of the Delhi Government Mrs Sheela Dixit ji, Dr Harsh Vardhan ji (Union Minister, Government of India), and Delhi MP Shri B.L. Sharma, Mr Sandeep Dixit, Mr Arvinder Singh Lovely ji (MLA-Gandhi Nagar, Education Minister and Transport Minister, Government of Delhi), Mr Ajay Maken (Union Minister), Mr Ram Babu Sharma (Congress President-Delhi Pradesh) paid their presence that played a key role in making the event successful.

Other major chief guests in all these programs who participated in the event were, Mr Darshan Kumar Behlji (MLA-Gandhi Nagar), Mr Madan Lal Gaba ji and Mr Naseeb Singh ji, Mr Om Prakash Sharma ji (MLA-Vishwas Nagar), Master Somnath ji (Metro Polish Council), corporator Haveli Ram Khanna ji, Dr V.K. Monga Sir, Sister Waryam Kaur, Mr Surendra Prakash Sharma, Mrs Anjana Sharma, Mr Jitendra Chowdhary (Jitu) ji, Mrs Deepa Jain ji, Mr Suresh Bindal ji (President-Mercantile Association-Chandni Chowk), Mr Satwant Singh ji (Chairman-Tankrod Association), Mr Anand Jain G (Pradhan-Ramnagar Market), Mr Des Raj Malhotra G (Pradhan-Subhash Road), Mr Shyam Sunder Agarwal ji (Pradhan-Shanti Mohalla).

The program of Holi Mangal Milan happened under the chairmanship of organization president Mr Kanwal Kumar Balli. All the office bearers of the organization and members of the executive committee fulfilled their respective responsibilities & participated in the colourful program. Mr. Naresh Sikka and Mr. Anil Jain of "CityKing". The role of Mr Ashok Jain Jaychanda, Mr Ashok Sharma, Mr Amar Chand Jain Mr Dhankumar Jain, Mr Satish Khurana, Mr Ramesh Sharma Pillu, Mr Sukhmal Chand Mr Jain, Mr Vikas Khurana, Mr Mohan Mittal, Mr Prem Chandra Jain, Mr Bijend Nath Sharma ji, Mr S.K. Mr Monga, Mr Ashok Kumar Aggarwal "AK", Mr Girish Jindal, Shri Pramod Gupta ji, and Shri Sanjay Luthra ji, all played crucial roles in the programs of the organization.

Children of members of the association who score more than 90 percent marks in their 10th and 12th have always been honoured by the honourable ministers present in the program. In the end, the prizes would be drawn through a lucky draw and with that, every program organised by the association has been a grand success.
